First, and obvious question is, will gaze/LB be even needed? What if the mobs are different?

Secondly, R2 is all anyone needs, since I assume there will be little to no need to agro more than 3-5 mobs at the same time, making R2-5 completely sufficient.

And lastly, there better be a very good reason to not use heroes there, since even remotest nonsense about rank will make anyone who's serious to simply pull a heroway. Just like HA. Because that's all it comes down to in the end.

I seriously doubt anyone who currently has r8 lightbringer got it through "legitimate" means. For myself, I'd have never gotten to r6 were it not for the afk farming method, I'd have probably still been a lowly rank 2 or 3. As such, I'd think r3-4 would be a good requirement. it shows that you've put some work into the title, but haven't gone crazy over it.

I'd set a rank requirement, but heroes won't show their titles and my guildies (excluding a certain rank discriminator) will find their way into my group anyway.

If it follows the same as other Elite missions, there will be a 12 man limit, and no Henchmen. So you need atleast 3 Humans.

i would say lvl 3 lightbringer cuz at lvl 3, it means ur gaze will do al lil bit more than the average person will. if ur lvl 3, chances are u didnt afk farm cuz u at least go over lvl 4 doing a few hours of afk. also, lvl 2 is like the bare minium. ill probably accpet lvl 2 but would prefer r3+.

i think r2 will be fine with me.. seeing as anyone thats r8 obviously didn't play and has no clue what they're doing.. and people that played such as myself have like r4 at most and thats serious grind, but i'm glad Anet did take out the exploit

Finished game on my necro 2 weeks ago .. level 2. Infact I didn't get level 2 until Tuesday?

At abaddon now with my ele, still level 1 (230/300 points).

Too many people depends on 1 skill.

It's just about speed. A 5 energy 100 damage nuke with aoe interrupt? Who wouldn't want that. On the other hand, between heroes and henches I usually only had the one gaze, and half the time I didn't use it cause the mob had been killed and there were like 2 left and I consider it a waste to gaze two arms of insanity.

Two guildies/friends, me, and bunch of heroes are fine with me.
I won't PUG unless I'm the only person among my friends logging in during the weekend.... and for some reason, I seriously doubt that's going to be the case.

Meanwhile, I'll be displaying the KoaBD title instead of my "OMG I AFK FARMED TO RANK8".

I just have to remember to turn it on once I'm in the mission.... o_O

Of course, the flip side would be to simply not care about Lightbringer rank. Many made it through the entire game without it so I cannot fathom it being the only way to survive in the new area. Will it help? I am sure it will. Required to complete? I doubt it. It is nice to see the discrimination starting even before any of you have been to the new area though. That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy about the world outside my door. Makes it a bit easier to understand the popularity of Heroes, methinks.
